Online Course
The participants will learn the OG approach to teach beginning reading including phonemic awareness, phonics, and spelling. The OG approach is a direct, explicit, structured, systematic, cumulative and multi-sensory method that includes supportive error correction and analysis to drive instruction. Participants will create lesson plans to implement with students during the supervised practicum. This course and an additional 100 hours of practicum are required to enroll in the Intermediate course. Participants must attend all sessions. Course materials are included. Adult Audit Registration is $350.00.
